All Systems Go for Heswall Charter NightSaturday 9th September is to be our Charter Night. The DJ, venue, and food have all been booked. Price for the evening is £10, and it is to be held at the Prices Club, Bromborough with a 7.30pm for 8pm start. There will be a quiz organized by Dave Aston, and members are asked to donate prizes for the raffle. Copy CatsSouth Liverpool and Chester have now gone on-line as well with their own websites. Rachel's 2lst Birthday BashOn Saturday 2nd September, Rachel is planning to celebrate her upcoming 2lst Birthday. A meal at Caesar's Palace, Liverpool is planned followed by a night club for those that wish to carry on partying. Contact Helen Bibby to book your place for the meal. Fancy dress has been mentioned, speak to Rachel for the details. District Charity BarbecueThe above is to be held on Sunday 24th September at 1pm. Following the barbecue there will be a rounders match in Irby Park. Address of event is 34 Heathbank Avenue, Irby at Rotarian Joy Sander's house, who is District 1180 Rotaract Liaison Officer. Price is £2 per person and monies raised will go toward the Childline charity. Please bring your own food and drink (and a chair!). Chester Treasure HuntChester Rotaract are organizing a treasure hunt on Sunday 3rd September at 2.30pm. Those wishing to participate please contact Steve and Helen Bibby by August 25th. Oklahoma!Tony Lacey, one of our current members, is appearing in the musical Oklahoma at the end of October at the Floral Pavillions, New Brighton. A group are planning to see him perform on Friday 27th October. If you wish to come along, price is £7.50 and tickets can be obtained from Cathy.
