Steve and Helen get married

On May 27th, at Thingwall Methodist church, Steve and Helen got married. They first met at a Rotaract in early 1997.  It was a very memorable day blessed by great weather, the rain held off and the sun shone during the official photo session. Please see below for some photos of the wedding (click on to see full size photo).  A fantastic reception followed for the happy couple afterwards with a great wedding speech by Dave Aston.

Murder in Pensby was so Much Fun

On Saturday 17th June a group of gathered at Steve and Helen's house for a murder mystery night. The murder was of course not a real one, but the detective work, and acting was. The outcome was that Cathy was the culprit but she is really a man, and is James long lost brother as well. To cap a great night England beat Germany 1-0.

Heswall Charter Night September Details

The date of the above has been set as Saturday 9th September 2000 and is to be held in Bromborough. The theme is to be a fun quiz night,  organized by Dave Aston similar to the one he did for us all in September 1999 at Sharon house. Invites will go out to all local Rotary and Rotaract clubs. The price of the event should not exceed £10 so at to encourage a higher attendance. 

French and Saunders in October

Several members have expressed an interest to see Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders comedy duo at the Liverpool Empire on Wednesday 11th October 2000. If you wish to come along  contact Lucia.

Julian Clary in December
