Lucia finds a successor, as Miss P.

It's Rachel Philips, she has agreed to take on the role of the President. Her  term of office will start in July of this year. Thanks for Lucia for doing a great job over the last two years.

Chester Folds

Have the sad news to announce that the Rotaract Club of Chester has now folded due to dwindling numbers.

Bye to Sailor James.

In April James Wilson left these shores to go sailing around the Greek Islands this summer. He will return later on in the year.

Lucia reaches a milestone.

On Saturday 25th May Lucia will be celebrating being a year older by going for a drink in Chester (see events page for more details). However its one of those 'special' birthdays, when you can buy plenty of cards with the age printed on it. So here is a quiz question, is she  A) 18 , B) 21,  C) 30 , D) 40.  Correct answers on a postcard (or even email) may win a prize if they bribe the webmaster.

Gordon Caddy wins reward before operation

Gordon Caddy who has been the Rotary liaison officer between West Wirral Rotary and our own club, won an award for outstanding service. Our congratulations go out to him.  However we will not be seeing him for a while because he is going into hospital for a hip replacement operation.  Get well soon Gordon.
