Successful  Heswall Charter Night 

Saturday 9th September was the day for our charter night, and it was a great success. Dave Aston provided a brilliant, fun quiz,  and £526 was raised for our designated charity, The Newborn Appeal (premature babies).   A BIG Thank you goes out to all the members and organizations who helped make this night such a memorable night.

Lisa Steps Down

Lisa Kipling has unfortunately had to step down from her current position as vice president. This is due to the increased work load from her current job. Anyone interested into stepping into her shoes, please contact Lucia.

Christmas Meal 

We are going to Sheldrake's in Heswall this christmas since it was such a success last year. Helen Bibby is organising the event,  and the date in Question will be a Saturday in December, either 2nd, 9th or 16th with the last one being the current favourite.

North West (District 1180) Rotaract Web Site

There is now a District 1180 website,  which lists all the current North West Rotaract clubs and websites, if they have one. Currently in our district, besides ourselves, there are websites for South Liverpool and Chester . From the district 1180  website you can find out any forthcoming district events by visiting the  district diary.. All these new developments are listed under the links page.

Oklahoma!  

Tony Lacey, one of our current members, is appearing in the musical Oklahoma at the end of October at the Floral Pavillions, New Brighton. A group are planning to see him perform on Friday 27th October. If you wish to come along, price is £7.50 and tickets can be obtained from Cathy.
