Rotaract is an organization for young men and women aged 18-30.

Members participate in a programme of social, charitable and fund-raising events.

Rotaract is international with more than 6000 clubs in 116 countries.

In the United Kingdom there are over 200 clubs.

Rotaract clubs are split into different districts within the United Kingdom.

Heswall is in the North West District , known as district 1180.

District 1180 is split into two zones, north and south.

North zone includes the Rotaract clubs of Heswall, Chester, South Liverpool, Formby and Southport.

South Zone includes Denbeigh, Menai, Newtown, Llandudno and Ryhl.

There are district events where one club will invite the rest to come to one of its activities.

District events include such activities as dinner dances, quizzes, barn dances, ten pin bowling, treasure hunts, cheese and wine.

Each club has an elected President, vice president and secretary.
